Dusty Bricker founded Bricker & Associates, Inc. in 1992 as a small, smart marketing communications firm offering strategic counsel and creative solutions to help clients promote their brands.
She began her career with International Management Group, a sports marketing company. In 1980, she joined Condé Nast as promotion manager for the launch of Self magazine. By 1983, Dusty was a vice president in the promotion division of BBDO where she developed their event marketing capability and an international promotion strategy, linking BBDO agencies worldwide.
In 1988, Dusty moved to Time International as liaison to the International Olympic Committee. Her next assignment was in Hong Kong where she directed a target media and custom publishing business start-up operation. Returning from Asia, Dusty joined Fortune magazine, where she directed national conferences on the role of business in education reform.
Dusty received her undergraduate degree from Brown University, graduating with honors in comparative literature. She attended Washington University School of Medicine for one year, then Yale University School of Medicine the second year. She has been a member of the board of directors of the International Advertising Association (US Chapter) and event co-chair for the ADDY Awards, sponsored by Advertising Women of New York.
