Nancy Andrews

Nancy Andrews manages press relations with a particular expertise in broadcast placements. One of her main responsibilities is securing television and radio interviews for The Economist’s journalists. She has successfully placed journalists on numerous high-visibility shows including ABC Nightline and The News Hour with Jim Lehrer, as well as networks including CNN, CNNfn, CNBC, FOX and C-SPAN. In addition, she assists with the promotion of books written by Economist journalists including the recently released book by editor-in-chief Bill Emmott entitled, “20:21 Vision.”

For 15 years, Nancy held a variety of positions in television news, including news director, producer, and assignment editor. She ran and operated a network affiliate news department and supervised a staff of 50. She has also served as a media spokesperson for two state agencies, a small business and an elementary school.

Among her numerous awards, Nancy has an Emmy and the Bronze Quill Award of Excellence from the International Association of Business Communicators.

Nancy Andrews received a BA in Communication and Marketing from the University of Hartford.
